    Santiago Tianguistenco marca un hito en su historia con la elecci\u00f3n de Erika Olea de la Torre como su primera presidenta municipal. Este hecho no solo representa un avance significativo hacia la paridad de g\u00e9nero en la pol\u00edtica local, sino tambi\u00e9n una apuesta por la transformaci\u00f3n administrativa y social del municipio. Durante su toma de protesta a mediados de diciembre de 2024, Olea de la Torre destac\u00f3 la responsabilidad de asumir un cargo hist\u00f3ricamente dominado por hombres, enfrentando tanto desaf\u00edos como expectativas.<\/p>

    La presidenta electa, abogada de profesi\u00f3n, describi\u00f3 su campa\u00f1a como un proceso complejo pero enriquecedor donde enfrent\u00f3 barreras relacionadas con el g\u00e9nero, particularmente en comunidades donde el machismo y la violencia de g\u00e9nero a\u00fan prevalecen.\u00a0<\/p>

    \u00abRompimos todos los par\u00e1metros demostrando que una mujer puede liderar con eficacia y empat\u00eda\u00bb, afirm\u00f3. Su candidatura, respaldada por una alianza de partidos, fue resultado de una estrecha comunicaci\u00f3n con la ciudadan\u00eda y un liderazgo que dio prioridad a la unidad.<\/p>

    En el camino hacia su elecci\u00f3n, Olea enfatiz\u00f3 la importancia de superar prejuicios y estereotipos, destacando que su triunfo refuerza el mensaje de que las mujeres tienen la capacidad y el compromiso necesarios para gobernar. Inspirada por figuras como la gobernadora del Estado de M\u00e9xico, Delfina G\u00f3mez \u00c1lvarez o la presidenta constitucional de M\u00e9xico: Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, asegur\u00f3 que su administraci\u00f3n trabajar\u00e1 bajo un enfoque de inclusi\u00f3n y justicia social.<\/p>

    Consciente del reto que implica liderar un municipio con m\u00faltiples necesidades y rezagos administrativos, Erika Olea ha planteado una estrategia basada en 3 ejes rectores: seguridad, acceso al agua y salud. Entre sus prioridades figura el fortalecimiento de la polic\u00eda de proximidad, la creaci\u00f3n de un hospital municipal y la protecci\u00f3n de los recursos naturales de la regi\u00f3n. \u00abQuiero ser recordada como una presidenta presente, que escuche y trabaje junto a las comunidades\u00bb, mencion\u00f3, subrayando su compromiso con un gobierno cercano y transparente.<\/p>

    Erika Olea tambi\u00e9n hizo un llamado a la unidad, invitando a todos los sectores de Santiago Tianguistenco a participar activamente en el desarrollo del municipio.
